The Port Douglas Carnivale takes place every year in May and it is one of the most exciting events in Australia. This annual celebration of life opens with the Macrossan Street Parade, which has a different theme each year. The carnival includes art and craft exhibitions, fashion events, songwriters’ competitions, as well as free concerts which attract thousands of people. Not only will you enjoy the Australian culture during this carnival, but you will also have the opportunity to enjoy Australian food and wines.
